As it happens, it continues to be wet and dreary in London. I can see you shaking your heads – don’t worry, I won’t launch into yet another rant about the weather πŸ˜‰ Instead, let me introduce you to an outfit that is perfect for “weather-proofing” oneself against London’s winter without resorting to anoraks or snow boots.

As always, layering is key. I’m wearing a basic black jersey dress, a cardigan, and a studded leather jacket. I added a bright and fluffy tartan scarf to keep myself warm. Can you tell I’m scared of feeling cold – it makes me grumpy. Am I alone in this? Anyone?

I added a quirky unicycle necklace and a peace bracelet to reinforce the gold details of the leather jacket. As for the Fedora hat, it is perfect if you, like me, are super-lazy and couldn’t be arsed to do anything to you hair. I just threw on a messy side braid, added the Fedora, and a pair of Lennon-inspired sunglasses to give the outfit an edge. Simple πŸ™‚

  1. Savi U look AMAZING!! U r a fantastic dresser, but its ur carefree attitude that’s very adorable and makes u a unique fashionista. And u look so at ease no matter what u wear! πŸ™‚ I looove leather jackets myself but I live in Bangalore-the weather’s pleasant all year round and never gets cold enough to warrant a leather jacket *sigh* Well, not that I love the cold but I LOVE winter fashion! πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Ramya – thanks. I don’t enjoy fashion that tries to hard. In my defence, it’s important for a traveller to be comfortable at all times πŸ˜‰
