Can you guess the title of our most read post? Yep, it’s one titled Planning The Ultimate Road Trip in Iceland. We don’t blame you guys. We fell in love with Iceland the second we set foot in Reykjavik, Iceland’s bustling capital city. Just on our first two days in Iceland, we saw volcanoes, entire lagoons full of icebergs, and waterfalls like no other.
But it wasn’t just that. We stayed in stunning cottages, working farms, and guesthouses in Iceland. It’s only in Iceland that you would find accommodation, equipped with open-air hot tubs, in the middle of a lava field. We loved our stay with Icelandic Farm Holidays so much that we wrote an entire article on our favourite places to stay in Iceland.
We visited Iceland during the summer, so we missed seeing the Northern Lights. We didn’t think much about that till we saw the elusive Northern Lights in Finland earlier this year. They knocked our socks off, they truly did!!

The Big Prize
You and your partner can win a four day road trip in and around Reykjavik, Iceland. This means you can tour Iceland’s Golden Circle that includes some of the prettiest water falls in the world, hike a volcano, and see a lagoon full of icebergs. Make sure you don’t sleep at night because that’s when the Northern Lights come out to play – soak in a hot tub as you stare at the dancing Aurora Borealis in the sky 🙂 You can find a rough itinerary here. The one thing my husband and I love is to travel. Since our birthdays and anniversary fall on consecutive days, we vowed that we would take that week off and enjoy a getaway. I’ve wanted to see the northern lights since I was a little girl. My boyfriend and I have been trying to plan a trip to Iceland for over a year now and during that time we’ve watched several friends and family visit and have only enjoyed the scenery and adventures from afar. I would love to take my boyfriend here as a surprise for our 2nd anniversary since he doesn’t think we’ll be able to go. A trip like this could help us take a step back from the day to day grind of working to pay off student loans and experience the beauty of the world and the life we’re living in it. Keeping my fingers crossed and if its not us I hope its the trip of a lifetime for the lucky winner! You guys are amazing for doing this.

I went through so much hell to go live in Spain last summer and can’t wait to get back out there but I have to limit my travels just around the state due to class schedules. Done! Done! Done! Being a travel blogger, I’ve always explored travel, life with the eyes and passion similar to the way you shared in this post! I generally don’t participate much in contests, once in a while, probably. However, after having traveled to over 200 destinations in India and a few countries in SEA, one of the places that has always been on my bucket list is Iceland. In fact, I also always had a fantasy of staying in an Igloo, right from the time I read about them when I was in school. What better as a travel blogger, a wandering thinker and a pondering writer, than to achieve that childhood dream of mine, (Visiting this country of course.) Other than that, one of the most exciting thing about visiting this place is it’s Nordic Culture, Music, Theatre, and specifically the Harpa, which I’ve heard, and read about a lot. I just cannot imagine the amount of amazing experiences and culture that I’d get to write about! I beleive, I’d be able to do justice to all of it, if I get the opportunity to win this trip and write about it on my blog and other social channels to share experiences with the rest of the world.

Experiencing northern lights would be my lifetime dream come true! Keeping my fingers crossed!
I got married at 21,fought a lot,left homeland,husband’s Phd my masters and amongst all this I never had my European honeymoon. Now a year later when all these struggles have sort of ended I repent missing that once in a lifetime opportunity.Things never be the same when the proper time is gone. But if I win this that would definitely be so special that honeymoon after a while year wouldn’t be any less perfect. Really looking forward to this me and my husband would be thrilled to death!!!!!
